Moravská gobelínová manufaktura

The character of your carpet is determined not only by its colour and composition, but also by the technology used to create it. Each of the technologies employed in hand weaving or binding has its own specific magic and each can bring with it a specific atmosphere to your interior.

Designs are created on an individual basis for each space. Customers are given the opportunity to choose from proposals placed directly into their interiors.

Hand woven carpets

The technology of hand woven carpets (gallery) makes possible the use of coloured yarn in an unlimited range of colours. The high quality of the employed New Zealand yarn and the expert art and craft work are a guarantee of the highest utility value and long-term durability.

Carpets can be created up to six metres in width and in unlimited length with various heights of hair. Weaving of circular as well as oval carpets is also possible with the technology.

Hand woven Kelim carpets

The manufactory has a particularly long tradition with the weaving of hand woven Kelim carpets even two-sided (gallery) which are characterised by their attractive structure and geometrically organised patterns. The size of the carpets is limited to the two-metre width of the Kelim looms with an unlimited length.

Hand woven Looped carpets

In the areas of hand woven looped and pile carpets, which do not allow for patterning, the customer can choose the colour and the dimensions to a maximum width of 2.5 metres. Unlimited sizes can be attained through connecting the strips. Looped carpets are double-sided.
